Accessibility Statement
FarajzMD Plastic Surgery wants this site to be usable by anyone who comes to it, whatever device or assistive technology they use, so that they can reach the practice through it.
Last reviewed November 2, 2026.
The site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and the practice reviews it against that standard.
How the site is built
- Pages can be read and used with a keyboard alone, and the control that has focus is shown.
- Headings, landmarks, and lists are marked so that a screen reader can move through a page by its structure, and each page has one main heading.
- Images that carry meaning have a text description. Images that are decoration are hidden from screen readers.
- The films on the site have no sound and no speech. They can be paused, and the site shows still images in place of films for visitors whose device asks for reduced motion.
- Text and controls are set to the contrast the guidelines ask for, including text set over photographs and films, which the practice measures before it publishes a page.
- Controls that are pressed by touch are at least 44 pixels across.
- Pages carry their language, so that a screen reader reads them in the right voice.
What has been checked
The site has been checked with automated accessibility tools and by keyboard, at desktop and phone widths. A review with screen readers, and in Safari on an iPhone, has not yet been completed. Until it is, the practice does not claim that the site conforms to the standard; it states the standard it builds to and the checks it has made.
The booking form. The request form on the Book a Consultation page is provided by a third party, Symplast, inside its own frame on the page, and the practice does not control how it is built. If the form is hard to use with your technology, you can request a consultation by phone, by text, or by email instead; the details are below and in the footer of each page.
The map. The drawing of the streets around the office is decorative, and the address beside it, with a link to directions, carries the same information in text.
Tell us about a barrier
If any part of this site is hard for you to use, please tell the practice: email info@farajzmd.com, or call or text (213) 342-1106. Say which page and what happened, and the practice will reply within five business days and work to fix it.
You can also reach the practice, book a consultation, and ask a question by phone, text, or email, so that no part of the practice depends on this site alone.
